2011 Small business of the year nomination

 

The team here at FNBR was very pleased to learn we’ve been nominated again for the Small Business of the Year Award. The award is part of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s annual tribute to businesses with fewer than 250 employees.

 

We consider it a great honor to be nominated 2 years in a row out of the 90,000+ small businesses in the greater Tampa area.

 

In 2010, a long-time customer nominated us for the award. Thanks again to Nora Gunn of St. Joseph’s Hospitals Foundation!  This year, one of our key vendors nominated us - and we’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to Eric Moochnek with Suntrust Bank!

 

One of the captains of industry of 19th century America, Andrew Carnegie was once asked… “Which element was most important for the success of a business: labor, capital or brains?” His reply was a question, “Which leg of a three-legged stool is most important?”

Our Customers. We know the best way to help our customers is not simply by selling them products, but by providing solutions to their unique problems.

 

Our Employees. We know that treating our employees fairly, professionally, and with dignity and respect leads to a more effective group effort and a “can do” team mentality.

 

Our Vendors. We know that a good vendor is as important to our business as a good customer. We want to treat our vendors as partners and cultivate strong working relationships.
